Prof. Uffa Jensen is a historian of modern history and serves as the deputy director at the Centre for Research on Antisemitism at the Technische Universität in Berlin. In 2017, he received a prestigious Heisenberg professorship of the German Research Foundation (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft). His research interests include the modern history of antisemitism, of German Jewry, of psychoanalysis, of the history of emotions as well as visual history. He has previously held positions at the University of Sussex, the Universität Göttingen and the Max Planck Institute for Human Development in Berlin.
