At an online event organised by the Holocaust Educational Trust, Karolina Placzynta speaks to an audience of Trust’s Ambassadors – young people committed to learning about the Holocaust and its contemporary relevance.
In response to the Hamas terrorist attacks of 7th October, the team at Decoding Antisemitism analysed thousands of social media posts and have concluded that we are experiencing “a new chapter for the articulation of antisemitism in ‘mainstream’ discourses on social media.” Karolina’s talk presents the project’s analysis, exploring what antisemitism online looks like today, considering what impact this may have on users of such platforms, and how this may change as the result of the attacks.
